                    • The sports fandom, variance of cultures and progression of its cities. The state continues to get bigger, but many areas still seem quaint and alluring.

                      • Covering Duke and UNC in the Final Four in 2022 and various crazy weather events in 2018 that included a tornado, two hurricanes hitting the state and a huge snowstorm.
