Father and daughter killed in murder-suicide at Chapel Hill apartment

Chapel Hill police found a father and daughter dead from a shooting on Monday afternoon in a confirmed murder-suicide.

Police responded to a shooting call at Chapel View Apartments on Homestead Road around 2:20 p.m.

Officers found 70-year-old Hanho Choi and his 31-year-old daughter, Hyejin Choi, dead inside a home. Both of them had gunshot wounds.

Police believe the father was responsible for the shootings, saying the two lived together in the home.

Police said there is no threat to the community.
