One man is dead and another injured after Wilson police responded to a gunshot call on Friday night.
Officers responded to the 1200 block of Downing Street and discovered Anthony Barnes, 43, of Wilson, suffering from a gunshot wound.

When emergency services arrived, he was pronounced dead.
A second victim, Rodney Farmer, 43, of Wilson was also found with a gunshot wound. He was taken to ECU Health Medical Center for treatment. The severity of his injuries is unknown.
