Lee County deputies are searching for a man who fled the scene during an attempted arrest on Monday night.
Deputies attempted to arrest Eric Shane Stone, 49, at a home in the 2800 block of St. Andrews Church Road in Sanford.

Stone is wanted in Harnett County for habitual felon, possession of methamphetamine, and a felony probation violation in Lee County.
He fled the home in a 2012 Audi, narrowly missing one of the deputies with the vehicle.
Authorities have added an additional charge of assault with a deadly weapon on a law enforcement officer.
