Wake County School leaders will meet with law enforcement Wednesday at Millbrook High School.
They’re covering a lot of topics Wednesday morning, but number one on the list is how to keep your students safe if there’s an on campus threat.

Sky 5 was there when Enloe High School went on lockdown in April after a student was sent a photo of her boyfriend on campus. There were concerns he may have been armed, but police never found a gun or the boyfriend.
WRAL News spoke with Sergeant Tom Brienzi from the Holly Springs Police Department.
This is their message for parents ahead of the new school year: Talk to your kids about the consequences of misinformation on social media.
"Make sure that they are self aware enough to realize what they know and what they do not know," Brienzi said. "And only share facts with a trusted person – whether that be a teacher, an administrator at school or a law enforcement officer, maybe the parent themselves."
I asked the district if they tracked how many school lockdowns happened last year because of social media hoaxes.
The district said it doesn’t keep a record of that. But WRAL News reported at least two incidents in April.
