A Delta flight going from Atlanta to Washington, D.C. made an unscheduled landing Wednesday at Raleigh-Durham International Airport due to a reported odor in the flight deck, the airline said in a statement.
Delta Flight 850 landed safely Wednesday evening at RDU with 150 passengers and six crew members, according to the airline.

There were no reported injuries, the airline said.
Delta made the unscheduled landing "out of an abundance of caution," the airline said in a statement.
"Safety is always our top priority, and we apologize to our customers for the delay in their travels," the airlines wrote.
An RDU spokesperson said fire-rescue crews were on the scene to evaluate passengers if needed. The plane landed, taxied to a gate and passengers got off the plane.
A new plane is expected to depart at 7:15 p.m. at RDU.
