A recall was issued for the Melissa & Doug fire truck activity board, sold exclusively at Target. The Consumer Product Safety Commission said consumers should stop using the toy immediately.
The "Lights and Sound Fire Truck" hose port can come loose and detach, creating a choking hazard and posing a risk of serious injury, according to the commission. The recall includes about 84,000 toys. They were sold from July 2025 through August 2026.

On the bottom of the toy, "Melissa & Doug" is embossed on the battery compartment box, along with two wheels showing the month and year the product was manufactured, according to the recall.
Affected toys will have one arrow pointing to the number 25 and a second arrow pointing to either 4 or 5, or one arrow pointing to the number 26 and a second arrow pointing to 3.
The recalled toys also have the date codes OET 25100, OET 25150 or OET 26064 printed on the packaging.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said people who have one of the recalled toys should register online for instructions on how to receive a free replacement, a full $30 refund or a $40 store credit.
