Frozen fettuccine sold at Walmart recalled due to potential Listeria contamination

Frozen pasta distributed nationally at Walmart under the brand Bettergoods is being recalled because of potential Listeria contamination.

No illnesses have been reported yet, according to the Food and Drug Administration. But a routine sampling revealed that Bettergoods 22 oz. Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine — stamped with UPC number 194346442706 — may contain the bacteria. 

The recalled packages are stamped on back with lot number L6079C or L6080C and an expiration date of Sept. 19, 2027, or Sept. 20, 2027 

Distribution of the product has been discontinued while the FDA and the company continue to investigate. 

The FDA has urged customers to return the recalled packages to the place of purchase for a full refund. Customers can also email the Bettergoods company Gias Foods at sales@giasfoods.com.
