April is a busy month for festivals and fun. This weekend there are beer festivals, Race for the Cure and Spring Daze in Cary.

April 25: Komen Triangle Race for the Cure - The 2026 Komen Triangle Race for the Cure is set for April 25 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham. This is the 30th anniversary of the Triangle Race for the Cure, which raises money to held end breast cancer. WRAL is a sponsor of this event.
April 24: Relay for Life of Franklin County at Franklinton High School - The race celebrates cancer survivors and remembers those lost to the disease. It is presented by the American Cancer Society. WRAL is a community partner of this event.
