WMBF reports Myrtle Beach police made nearly 400 arrests during Memorial Day weekend as thousands of visitors packed the Grand Strand.
Officers responded to 2,291 calls for service, with 1,598 of those being officer-initiated, according to the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

Officers arrested 11 people on DUI charges and filed 140 drug charges.
They also cited 76 drivers for open container violations.
Police say they recovered 21 firearms during the weekend.
