The Wilson Police Department said a 17-year-old has been arrested in the death of a 16-year-old on Spruce Street.
Just before 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, police responded to a call of a shooting on Spruce St. in Wilson.

When officers arrived, they found a 16-year-old dead inside the home.
Police said the teenage suspect was arrested on Saturday, June 27, and transported to Pitt County Juvenile Detention Center.
