More than 20 years after a Durham County woman was murdered in her home, the state is offering a $25,000 reward for information.
68-year-old Rosa Lee Crabtree was found dead in her Rougemont home in November of 2005.

Two TVs, a DVD player, and jewelry were stolen from her house.
Her family, including her niece Tonya, is still hoping for closure.
“She is a lady who loved family, loved Jesus, loved to cook, loved the garden, loved flowers, loved thrift shopping, and loved a senior citizen deal. Full of life,” Tonya said.
At the time of Crabtree’s death, the state had offered a $5,000 reward for information.
That's now increased significantly.
“We are excited and hope maybe something comes from it because I was hoping for a $10,000 reward, and we have a $25,000 reward, and that's just that's awesome,” Tonya said.
According to the Governor’s Office, the Durham County Sheriff's Office has begun reviewing the case again and has submitted evidence to the state crime lab for testing.
Tonya told WRAL that all of Crabtree’s siblings have passed away without closure.
“Still, when I go to places in these little towns, Rougemont is small, Roxboro is small, Hillsborough is small- am I looking right at them? Is it somebody I know?” Tonya said. “We just want to know who and why.”
