Apex police arrest woman for allegedly removing political campaign sign

Apex police said a woman is now in custody after she was accused of vandalizing multiple political signs.

On Wednesday, officers arrested 67-year-old Ivy Lynn Dearman. According to arrest warrants, Dearman is accused of stealing, defacing, vandalizing, or removing, an "anti-Morrow" political campaign sign from the Apex Town Hall.

She is charged with removing a political sign and is expected in court on Thursday, March 26 at 7:45 a.m.
