A man was charged in an apparent road rage incident after video captured him threatening another driver on a major highway with her child in the car.
48-year-old Christopher John Walters, of High Point, was charged with misdemeanor communicating threats, police said.

Myeka Dunn posted videos on social media of Walters yelling at her while driving on Interstate 85 northbound near the Raeford exit around 4:30 p.m. on July 31.
Dunn said she had her 3-year-old son in the car with her.
In the video, Walters appears to make several threats towards Dunn by yelling, “you are going to die! You are going to die!” and “I could kill you! I could kill you!”
Dunn called Guilford Metro 911 to report the interaction and filed a warrant against Walters, police said.
"They [Greensboro Police Department] said they couldn’t do anything about the reckless driving even with video evidence and people coming forth stating the same thing happened to them," Dunn told WRAL News Friday night. "Either way I am glad that he’s locked up and I hope that they actually do their jobs and he gets the help that he needs.”
“In North Carolina, a resident can pursue a misdemeanor charge(s) against another individual by going to the local Magistrate’s Office and presenting information to support probable cause for the charge(s),” Greensboro police wrote in a statement. “This option is available to residents if an incident did not occur in the presence of officers and if the reported crime would likely be a misdemeanor offense.”
Walters was also charged with assault on a female for an unrelated incident on Aug. 1 in High Point, police said.
He was arrested Thursday and is being held in the High Point jail.
Police advise drivers not to engage with other drivers in apparent road rage situations.
