A Boil Water Advisory is issued for the town of Salemburg.
This is a precautionary measure due to a fluctuation in water pressure. The advisory was issued at 9 p.m. Friday. The town also posted to their Facebook around that time stating some residents were without water, and they were working to learn more about the widespread water outage.

The advisory will remain in effect until further notice. Residents should not drink tap water without boiling it first. Water should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one (1) minute. The town said they are working to provide bottled water for those in need.
Boiled or bottled water should be used for all human and pet consumption, including:
- Drinking, including water given to pets
- Preparing food and beverages, including infant formula
- Making ice
- Brushing teeth
- Washing fruits and vegetables
- Washing dishes and food-contact surfaces
Bathing and showering are considered safe as long as water is not swallowed. Children should be supervised while bathing to ensure no water is swallowed.
Residents should discard any ice made from tap water on Friday afternoon or later.
