Raleigh officials said work has wrapped up on a broken water main along Capital Boulevard.

City leaders said the water main break happened at the intersection of Capital Boulevard and Ratchford Drive.

According to the city, crews found a leak in a large 16-inch water valve. As of 12:18 a.m. Monday, the city said crews had repaired the leak.

Southbound lanes were detoured to the far-left lane as crews work to repair the valve. The repair was scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.
