Car crashes into garage in Garner, driver charged with DWI

A car ran into a garage Friday night after police say the driver was under the influence.

Just before midnight, Garner police responded to a crash at a home on White Oak Garden Way. 

The car ran into the side of the garage, leaving a large hole. 

The driver had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, according to Garner police.

They were charged with DWI.
