A crash injured one person and caused power outages for more than 700 customers in Johnston County Friday night.
Shortly after 10 p.m., a car ran into a power pole, and the driver was trapped inside. This happened near the Johnston County Airport on US-70 Business near Smithfield.

The driver, a 52-year-old woman, told first responders that she did not remember what happened before the crash and that she may have lost consciousness.
She was taken to WakeMed with multiple fractures from her chest to lower extremities, the Wilson Mills Fire Department said.
All four lanes were closed for about two hours. Traffic resumed as normal around midnight.
Power was restored to all Johnston County residents around 5 a.m.
