A motorcyclist was killed Saturday night on a Cary road with a history of crashes.
According to the Cary Police Department, officers and firefighters were called to the intersection of of McCrimmon Parkway and Green Level Church Road around 7:15 p.m. Police said the motorcyclist died from his injuries at the hospital.

The driver of the other car in the crash stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
WRAL News has covered several crashes in that stretch of McCrimmon Parkway. The main road outside of Panther Creek High School has seen multiple crashes over the years, including two since November.
Drivers said there is limited visibility along the stretch.
"You may not see the oncoming car even if you're turning right," said Prashant Pratapwar. "You know, there is a no-turn-on-red strictly because you don't see the oncoming car.”
Saturday's crash occurred in Cary Town Council member Sarika Bansal’s district.
"My thoughts and prayers are definitely with the family, but it also kind of raises questions on driver safety," Bansal said.
WRAL News asked Bansal about safety improvements on McCrimmon Parkway after the numerous crashes. Bansal said a project to address that intersection is slated to be finished next summer.
"There is a signal," she said. "There are two crosswalks, one beacon light, and there are some changes to the center island that are going to change the flow of that traffic, and that project is pretty significant."
McCrimmon Parkway is under the state Department of Transportation’s jurisdiction. Bansal said it will take effort beyond the town’s control to ensure the entire road is safe.
"Any changes or anything that we propose doesn't necessarily have to be approved," Bansal said. "It has to go through the process, and NCDOT has to agree before the town of Cary makes an adjustment or change from our side."
Bansal said she is weighing feedback from drivers and working with police to find more safety improvement recommendations.
WRAL News is working to learn the identity of the motorcyclist. Police said the circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation.
