For the second day in a row, there is a water main break in Cary.

Town officials told WRAL that a water main that broke on Cary Parkway on Thursday afternoon has began leaking again on Friday morning.

The original water main break caused closures from Skipwyth Circle to Hampton Lee Court while crews made repairs on Thursday. That break was believed to be caused by a mixture of "aging infrastructure" and the "ground chilling, allowing a shift in pipe movement and a rock to puncture the pipe," according to Carolyn Roman with the Town of Cary.

About 120 homes were without water during the repair Thursday.

This is a developing story.

WRAL is working to find out what roads, if any, are closed due to Friday's leak.
