North Estes Drive reopens in Chapel Hill after temporary closure due to gas leak repair

North Estes Drive in Chapel Hill has reopened after a gas leak closed a portion of the road on Wednesday evening.

The Chapel Hill Fire Department was called shortly after 6 p.m. to reports of a gas leak. North Estes Drive between Halifax and Granville roads was closed for about an hour while crews worked to repair the leak.
