Knightdale, NC — Interstate 540 East reopened Wednesday after a crash near Knightdale Boulevard in Knightdale, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
Sky 5 flew over the crash, which showed a truck overturned. Traffic was backed up in the area as crews worked to clear the scene.

The NCDOT provided the following detour information:
Drivers traveling to I-87 North: Take Exit 24A to US 64 BUS West, to I-440 East, to Exit 14 to I-87 North.
Drivers traveling to I-87 South: Take Exit 24B to US 64 BUS East to I-87 South.
