A convicted sex offender accused of being on the grounds of an elementary school in Cumberland County is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
Danny Yarborough, 66, of Fayetteville, is charged with two counts of a sex offender on child premises after the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office say he drove onto the property of Gallberry Farm Elementary School.

Detectives received a tip that Yarborough had been on the school's property at 8019 Byerly Drive in Hope Mills. Around 3 p.m. Friday, officers said they noticed Yarborough driving a red Chevy Tahoe to enter the school’s parking lot.
Authorities are holding Yarborough at the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $100,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday afternoon.
