Two men were arrested on Thursday after police officers in Goldsboro said they robbed a store.
According to the Goldsboro Police Department, officers were called to a reported robbery around 11:17 a.m. at a Dollar General on North William Street. When they arrived, a store employee told them that two men tried to rob the store, and one of them had a gun.

Police said they eventually identified the men as 25-year-old Micah Deangelo Cumberlander and 34-year-old Marquez Tashawn Leach. Cumberlander as arrested in Goldsboro, while Leach was arrested in Mount Olive after trying to run away.
The men were charged with the following:
- Cumberlander:
- Attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.
- Conspiring to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon
- Carying a concealed weapon.
- Attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.
- Leach:
- Attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.
- Conspiring to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon
- Attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Cumberlander was given $100,000 bond, while Leach is in jail under no bond. Both are expected to appear in court on Friday.
