A man was killed in a crash on Sunday in Raleigh.

According to Raleigh police officers, the crash happened around 1:14 p.m. on Arco Corporate Drive near Macaw Street. Police said the driver, 18-year-old Abraham Karim Manrique Ponce, was speeding and hit two trees as he exited the road.

Police said Ponce wasn't wearing his seatbelt when crashed and was ejected from the car, which then caught on fire after the crash.

Ponce was taken to the hospital, where he later died. A juvenile in the passenger seat was also injured in the crash, but is expected to be okay.

Police said their investigaiton into the crash is ongoing.
