One man is dead and two women are seriously injured after a shooting that occurred on Rowemont Dr. around midnight Friday.
The Durham Police Department said a person reported multiple shots fired at 12 a.m.

Daniel Henderson, a neighbor who heard the gunshots, said that a shooting around a "friendly neighborhood" is "truly shocking."
"It was very loud. I was actually sitting on my back porch out here, and the shocking thing is is that even in this neighborhood it's like not that much stuff goes on," said Henderson. "I mean literally the park is no more than five feet away from this crime scene. This is insane like literally we got little kids, a lot of little kids that stay in the neighborhood."
Officers found three victims, a man and two women, with gunshot wounds inside a car on Rowemont Dr. in front of an entrance to Whippoorwill Park.
They were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The man later died.
Durham police officers are on the scene investigating as of 2:30 a.m.
