A man died in a crash in Durham after he was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
Juan Jose Acevedo Archila, 18, was involved in a crash and he exited his car to access damages when an approaching car hit him.

Stephen Moore, 37, of Manson, was driving the vehicle. Moore told officers he tried to stop, but slid due to the rain. Officers said he was driving while impaired.
Archila was transported to the hospital, where he later died.
Moore was facing the following charges:
- Driving while impaired
- Driving with license revoked
- Failure to reduce speed
- Misdemeanor death by vehicle
- Exceeding safe speed
- No liability insurance.
