Durham Police have made two arrests related to an early January shooting on Hillsborough Road.
Irease Jeffrey was killed when shots were fired into the car he was driving. A woman in the car was also seriously injured.

Durham Police have arrested 25-year-old Tony Lamont Scott II and 26-year-old Aryahna Kiara.
Both are charged with murder, two counts of felony conspiracy, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or seriously injure.
Warrants for their arrests were issued on Jan. 21; Kiara was arrested the next day, and Scott was arrested on Feb. 4.
Arrest warrants say the pair conspired to shoot Jeffrey in the neck and the other victim in the head with a 9mm handgun.
Both have been ordered to have no contact with the surviving victim or victims' families, and no contact with each other.
Neither defendant has past violent convictions.
Kiara has one traffic infraction for speeding.
Scott has a series of traffic infractions, mainly for speeding. In 2019, he was charged with a misdemeanor possession of marijuana and carrying a concealed gun. Court records show both charges were later dismissed.
A family friend of Jeffrey provided photos of him to WRAL News, adding that he was an aspiring rapper, known as "Billy Resio" in the music community, who had just signed a record deal.
"He was just a natural, like he was born to do it," said Michael Mitchell. "Wish I could have saved him because we had talked about him moving out of Durham and coming down here to Miami."
Kiara’s next court date is set for Feb. 12.
Scott’s first appearance is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 5.
