Lockdown lifted after tip about weapon at Riverside High School

Riverside High School was under a lockdown on Tuesday afternoon after school administrators got a tip that there may be a student with a weapon on campus.

Durham police and Durham County Sheriff's Office members were at the school around 3 p.m. 

The lockdown was lifted around 3:30 p.m. Riverside's regular school day schedule runs until 4:15 p.m.

It's not known if anyone was arrested.
