Andrea Faust was supposed to face a Durham County judge on Monday morning.
However, she missed the court appearance because she was rushed to the hospital for a medical emergency.

Scanner traffic described the scene inside the Durham County Detention Center as employees sought help for Faust just after 8 a.m.
"EMS is being called. Medical is on level five," recordings said. "Andrea Faust, white female."
Officials have not released information on the nature of the medical emergency.
Faust is charged with first-degree murder for the death of one of her children, and attempted first-degree murder for the other child. Her two children were found unresponsive at a home on Chartwell Court Thursday night.
Her neighbor, Charlene Montford, told WRAL she was still in shock at the news. Monford described Faust as a "very loving mother."
"She's not an awful person, she's not," Montford said.
Montford said she has known Faust for over a decade and only noticed a change in her behavior recently.
"Only like the last month or so," Montford said. "Before that, she was very engaged with the kids. She would try to get them out when the weather was nice."
Faust's LinkedIn page lists her as an instructor at two community colleges - Guilford Technical Community College and Central Carolina Community College. WRAL has reached out to both institutions to ask if she is still employed there.
