An Enloe High School student was arrested this week at school and faces a misdemeanor charge, a school district spokesperson wrote in an email to families.
Public documents show John Nghia Heiu Gurganus, 18, of Raleigh, is charged with secret peeping.

The letter from the district said the alleged incident happened on Monday and was reported to a teacher, who notified a school administrator.
According to the letter, the school administrator then reported the information with Enloe’s school resource officer to begin an investigation.
“I want to assure you that we take the safety of our students and staff members very seriously,” the district’s letter reads. “While privacy laws prevent me from providing much additional information about the situation, I can share that the student has been disciplined in accordance with WCPSS policies.
“In addition, we continue to cooperate fully with law enforcement on this investigation.”
