Police investigate fatal crash near Apex Friendship High

Around 11:40 p.m. Thursday, the Apex Fire Department responded to a fatal car crash.

The crash happened at Horton Ridge Blvd near Grants Pass Station. 

Officials said it was a single vehicle collision and the driver died at the scene.

Apex police are investigating the crash, and have not released the identity of the driver.
