Durham police responded to a fatal shooting in the 300 block of Melbourne Street near Ross Road Thursday evening.
Around 4:19 p.m. Durham police arrived on the scene of a shooting where they found a man suffering from a gun shot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead.
