A Fayetteville man was found guilty of raping a child at the end of September, the Fayetteville Police Department announced.
A judge sentenced Dennis Sullivan, 41, to a sentence of 150-210 years in prison.

On Sept. 26, Sullivan was found guilty of:
Three counts of statutory rape of a child and three counts of sexual offense with a child among other charges.
Fayetteville police initially arrested Sullivan in June 2024.
In March 2024, a child was seen at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Police said the child reported Sullivan’s sexual assaults went on for years.
