Chaos broke out Sunday morning after a fight inside the popular Tupelo Honey restaurant in Raleigh.

On Sunday morning, Raleigh police officers responded to the restaurant at 425 Oberlin Road.

According to police, a physical fight broke out between two employees in the kitchen, and one of the employees displayed a gun.

No shots were fired, but police said pots and pans fell during the fight, creating a loud commotion that startled people in the restaurant. 

One viewer walking past Tupelo Honey witnessed the commotion and wrote to WRAL News, "Police are running back and forth ... people leaving the Tupelo Honey ... nobody know what is happening but something big is going on."

The employees involved will be charged with misdemeanor assault, according to police. Additional charges are pending.
