Raleigh fire crews responded to a fire at a home on Poole Road Thursday morning.
An alert from the Raleigh Fire Department stated that as of 10:50 a.m., crews were still on the scene to deal with the fire, and one person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

WRAL's Sky 5 flew over the fire just before 9:30 a.m. and saw a large response that was blocking a portion of Poole Road.
Smoke was seen coming out of a small hole in the roof of the home.
Firefighters were also seen consoling a dog.
