Two adults and three underage individuals are facing charges in a car crash earlier this month in Nash County. 

On Sept. 6, a car crashed on Rose Loop Road in Nashville after crossing the center line, hitting a ditch and flipping several times. Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE) investigated the crash and charged three underage individuals, as well as a 21-year-old and a 45-year-old.

The driver and two backseat passengers were ejected from the vehicle. No one was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and all three were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

One person is still in the hospital. 

ALE agents found that the driver, 20-year-old Jeremy Thompson Jr., bought alcohol using a fake ID and gave it to other underage individuals at a house party. 20-year-old Hannah Carpenter hosted the party. Her father, Blair Carpenter, was home and allowed the house party to happen. 

Prior to the crash, Thompson Jr. was reportedly driving recklessly and doing donuts at the intersection close to the party. 

Five people are facing charges, including

    • Providing Alcohol to an Underage Person
      • Underage Possession of Alcohol
        • Underage Consumption of Alcohol
          • Obtain Alcohol Using a False ID
            • Purchase Malt Beverage/Unfortified Wine by an Underage Individual
              • Driving While Impaired
                • Underage Driving after Consuming
                  • Felony Serious Injury by Vehicle (2 counts)

                    Hannah Carpenter of Nashville (20): 

                    • Providing Alcohol to an Underage Person
                      • Underage Age Aiding and Abetting the Unlawful Possession of Alcohol by an Underage Person
                        • Underage Possession of Alcohol
                          • Underage Consumption of Alcohol

                            Blair Carpenter of Nashville (45): 

                            • Aiding and Abetting the Unlawful Possession of Alcohol by an Underage Person (8 counts)

                              Gavin Turner of Youngsville (21):
