A Fort Bragg soldier arrested in Ohio is accused of raping a 12-year-old girl he met online.
On Friday, Aug. 14, police in Montville, Ohio, tracked the girl's cellphone to a room at the Montville Township Hotel. The girl had been reported missing as a runaway in Willowick, Ohio.

Jayden C. Fox, 21, who is originally from Florida, was arrested and charged with felony rape. Police said Fox had rented the hotel room.
Police said Fox met the girl online and traveled to the Willowick area from Fort Bragg with plans to pick her up. According to officials, Fox was on a four-day leave at the time.
The girl has been reunited with family. Fox remains in the Medina County Jail on a $2 million bond.
An investigation is ongoing as officers pursue all available leads and evidence. Additional charges are anticipated.
Montville police sad, "While we cannot provide additional details at this time due to the ongoing nature of the investigation and the age of the victim, we are grateful that our officers were able to locate this young woman and safely reunite her with her family."
