Franklin County crews knocked down a small fire at a high school late Sunday night.
The Franklin County emergency communications center received an automatic fire alarm at Bunn High School just before 10:30 p.m. Bunn Rural Fire Department quickly responded to the call and found signs of flames and smoke showing from inside a classroom. The blaze was extinguished within minutes.

Several additional agencies including Justice Fire Departments, Pilot Fire, Franklin County deputies and EMS were called to assist in the investigation.
The Franklin County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the incident.
