A standoff ended early Tuesday in Franklin County after a man barricaded inside a home fired shots at deputies on Twin Creek Drive, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies said they were called just before 5:30 p.m. to Twin Creek Drive on Monday.

Family members said they believe Fritz Fink was “very, very drunk” and began shooting at the walls, which led to them calling 911.
No one was injured when shots were fired. The standoff, which lasted over seven hours, ended after midnight.
The Special Response Team of the State Bureau of Investigation was able to enter the home and arrest Frink. He is charged with discharging a firearm in an occupied residence.
Sheriff Kevin White wrote, "The subject has been captured and taken into custody without further incident. Thank all of you for the prayers and for the kind words. Our deputies are fine and made it home to their loved ones."
The State Bureau of Investigation and the Wake Forest Police Department assisted with the incident.
Franklin County District Attorney Mike Waters said that mental health may have played a role in Frink's actions.
During the standoff, deputies were limiting access in and out of the subdivision.
