One person has been arrested after they were accused of stealing several propane tanks from a gas station.
Fuquay-Varina police were called to a BP gas station on Bass Lake Road to separate incidents about propane tanks being stolen.

Susan Weis, a Fuquay-Varina spokeswoman, said the first call was on Feb. 12. During the investigation police discovered that 10 propane tanks were stolen at night.
Two weeks later, on Feb. 26, officers responded to a second call to a report of more propane tank thefts. During that investigation, police determined that six more propane tanks for stolen, Weiss said.
Police did not release information about the person arrested. They continue to investigate to find more people responsible.
