A single-family home in Fuquay-Varina was badly damaged from a fire Sunday morning.
Fuquay-Varina firefighters responded to a house fire in the 2500 block of Perthshire Drive.

Fire officials said they believe the fire started on the back patio and ran up an outside wall and into the attic. The back of the home was damaged.
