A Goldsboro man is accused of intentionally crashing into a woman’s car during a domestic dispute Tuesday night, police said.

Officers responded around 10:42 p.m. to a crash with injuries in the 1200 block of U.S. 70 West.

Investigators said 20-year-old Jareyon Powell chased 20-year-old NyAsia Faison and struck her car, causing her to crash. Powell then lost control of his own car and was ejected when it rolled over, according to the police.

Both were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Powell faces charges including first-degree attempted murder, driving while impaired, driving after consuming alcohol while younger than 21, interfering with emergency communications, reckless driving and driving while license revoked due to an impaired-driving revocation.

Police said the warrants will be served upon his release from medical care.
