Goldsboro police arrest mother, two others after 1-year-old treated with second-degree burns

Goldsboro police have arrested an additional person after a child was taken to the hospital with second-degree burns.

Terry Combee, 27, was arrested and appeared in court for the first time on Wednesday. According to arrest warrants, Combee was accused of not taking her 1-year-old son to the hospital for second-degree burns. His current condition is unknown.

Combee was charged with two counts of felony child abuse and authorities are holding her on a $60,000 bond. She is expected to be back in court on Wednesday, July 1.

Her arrest comes after officers arrested two other people last month.  Police arrested Kenneth Russell, 36, and Jasmyne Pace, 25.

According to arrest warrants, Russell and Pace were caring for the child at the time of the incident. Both are expected back in court on Monday, June 15.
