Goldsboro police identified a man who was shot and killed on Thursday.
Officers were called to reports of a shooting at 8:38 p.m. on Vanderbilt Circle. When they arrived, officers said they found a man who had been shot.

Police said the man was taken to UNC Health Wayne, where he later died. The man was later identified as 42-year-old Edward Duncan Jr.
The investigation is still ongoing.
