GoRaleigh will increase the frequency of some of its routes starting Oct. 12, the company has announced.
The changes are being funded by the Wake Transit half-cent sales tax.

Route 1 Capital, which goes to Triangle Town Center, Spring Forest and Brentwood roads, will increase its timing to every 10 minutes.
In the early morning and late evening on weekdays, that route will run every 20 minutes. On the weekends, buses will run every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 mintues in the early morning and late evening. Three stops on Route 1 will be removed as well.
Route 7 South Sanders and Route 15 WakeMed will each increase bus frequency to every 15 minutes later in the evening and on weekends. Early morning and late evening service every day of the week will run every 30 minutes.
Route 33L Knightdale is increasing its frequency to every 45 minutes on weekdays.
Route 18L Barwell-New Hope is being adjusted on Saturdays to better align with Route 18
In addition, GoRaleigh Station will have updated platform assignments to make it easier for travelers to catch the bus. These are the changes taking place on Oct. 12:
