A Granville County man is accused of killing his 5-month-old daughter.
John Wheeler, 34, of Franklinton, is charged with second-degree murder. He is also charged with child abuse.

Granville County deputies responded on May 10 to a home and found Kylie Wheeler unresponsive. Authorities took the 5-month-old girl to an area hospital and put her on life support. She died on Saturday.
Authorities said Kylie Wheeler had multiple injuries consistent with child abuse.
John Wheeler is due in court on May 28.
