Authorities are investigating the remnants of a crash into a Starbucks on Guess Road in Durham.
Durham police confirmed that at around 10:45 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a reported hit-and-run.

Their preliminary investigation revealed that a car was traveling through the drive-thru of the Starbucks when it hit the building before leaving the scene. There were no reported injuries and no other vehicles were reported to be in this incident.
Police did not provide details as to whether or not someone will be charged in connection to this crash.
According to police radio traffic, officers at around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday were looking into a car that crashed into the side of a Starbucks on Guess Road.
The WRAL Breaking News Tracker footage found that a bumper discarded on the side of the building was all that was left of the scene, along with the damage the building sustained.
That Starbucks on 3801 Guess Road was closed for the day.
