A Halifax County woman was arrested on Wednesday after she was accused of stabbing a man on Christmas Day.
Halifax County deputies said deputies arrested Vesquawn Hill. The 43-year-odl woman is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, inflicting serious injuries.

Sheriff's deputies said they were called on Christmas Day to the Pine Ridge Apartments on Pecan Drive for reports of a man who had been stabbed. When deputies arrived, they found the man had been stabbed in his inner thigh.
Deputies have not released the name of the man who was stabbed nor any information about his current condition.
Deputies issued a warrant for her arrest following an investigation. Authorities are holding her without bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, Jan. 13.
