When police stopped Swain they saw the following message written on his driver's side window.

"HEADED TO WSH TO KILL THE PRES..."

Swain's lawyer told the court it has been difficult to communicate with him while he is being held in Virigina, and the team needs time to prepare. The court granted a continuance of the case.

Swain's state charges for drug possession and resisting arrest were dropped earlier this month.

His new court date is June 2.
